How did we choose?

The world of 17-inch laptops continues to grow, although now the market seems to focus mostly on 15-inch models  (or even 13 and 14 inches ). Typically, these are the most demanding gamers who are looking for a larger screen size, but some also need to see bigger desktop. So, among the many models available on the market, it is not easy to navigate.

To help you, here is a list of criteria to pay particular attention to when choosing: 

The screen : The size 17 inches provides a (very) large screen: about 43 centimeters. For this reason, it is very important that the definition is at least 1080p, that is to say 1920 pixels in length and 1080 pixels in height. 

This is called Full HD. Indeed, the larger the screen of a camera, the more pixels that make up the image will be big too. Also note that the higher the image quality, the more your battery will be affected.

The keyboard : the typing comfort is essential to keep your computer on time. To be of good quality, a keyboard must have well spaced keys and reasonable size. In addition, it is preferable that the keyboard is backlit so you can type in comfort in the evening or at night. 

The backlight is also particularly useful for people who can not tap without looking at the keyboard, and gamers.

Performance : it is important that your PC is provided enough in terms of components (processor, graphics card ...) to allow you to properly perform your tasks. But of course, you will not need the same components for office work, graphics, or play.

Mobility : If you favor a laptop to a desktop computer, it is probably to benefit from its portability. With a screen so big, the weight is relatively high, often around 2-3 kilos.
